There was widespread shock in the community following An Post’s decision to close Kilcar Post Office following the retirement of current Post Master John O’Donnell at the end of this month with no alternative premises being sourced by An Post in the village and who’s pathetic response was go to Carrick, Glencolmcille or Killybegs Post Offices those in head office know nothing about the geography of our area.
